BP Measurement Equipment
Direct Blood Pressure
measurement requires catheterization of an artery in the experimental
animal. CWE offers a number of suitable transducer amplifiers as well as BP
transducers. The pulsatile BP signals producer are typically fed to a data
acquisition system for recording and analysis.

The TA-100 is a
compact, stand-alone amplifier with wide sensitivity range and low-pass
filter. Has front-panel LCD with numeric and bar-graph readout of
pressure. Accepts standard blood-pressure and other transducers (see
below).

The BPM-832 is a
dual-channel BP amplifier with wide sensitivity range and filters. Has

standard, medical-grade BP transducer suitable for use with rats and
larger animals. The TC-GRA adapter cable is required for use with the
above amplifiers.

The BP-MINI is a
miniature (0.6mm) pressure transducer suitable for mouse BP, intraocular
pressure, and other animal applications. Transducer plugs into adapter
plug (included) for direct connection to above amplifiers. Catheter length
= 40cm.
